Hydro-Powered Human Pedal Design

Ianov Lake, located about 22 km northeast of Timișoara, offers an ideal natural setting for recreation and outdoor activities. The project introduces hydro-bicycles designed to allow users to pedal directly on water. Built from lightweight and durable materials, they can reach speeds of up to 20 km/h and include adjustable ergonomic seats for maximum comfort. Their dynamic, sculptural geometry enhances both performance and visual impact, providing an authentic cycling sensation on water.

This innovative concept enables one or two riders, with the option to connect multiple units. One of the projects that contributed to winning the EUROPA DESIGN AWARD 2025 – NEXT GENERATION
